Public bug reported: "System testing" program generates no sound on both audio cards during "output" test.
Detection test results: 0 [M2496 ]: ICE1712 - M Audio Audiophile 24/96 M Audio Audiophile 24/96 at 0xa800, irq 17 1 [default ]: USB-Audio - PnP Audio Device PnP Audio Device at usb-0000:00:02.0-7, full speed "USB-Audio - PnP Audio Device" is builtin soundcard on Asus M2N-SLI motherboard with nforce chipset, it is on USB bus. It's ok, both of my sound cards are detected. But I can't manage to get output to any of them, both by running "System testing" and by using Rhythmbox. Tried to use mpg123. mpg123-oss successfully outputs sound to M Audio Audiophile 24/96, but mpg123-alsa does not output anything to any of soundcards. Both cards worked correctly on Ubuntu 9.04, without additional manual configuring, right after install. I have installed 9.10 rc as fresh copy, because I have lost partition with 9.04.
