Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot
If Thunderbird is your default mail handler, and you want to send an e-mail from within f-spot, the message gets created, but the pictures do not get attached. To solve this problem, you can change the gconf value of "/desktop/gnome /url-handlers/mailto/command" from "/usr/lib/thunderbird/thunderbird "%s"" to simply "thunderbird %s". However, that is not a good solution either, because as soon as you launch thunderbird again, it will complain about not being the default mailto handler anymore. If you then agree to make Thunderbird the default e-mail handler, the gconf value will be reverted and you won't be able to send e-mails using f-spot anymore... This boils down to the question of whether f-spot or thunderbird are right about the gconf syntax, and I have no idea about that.
