Yes, I see the following:

On a Samba server, I have some ``volumes'' that are publically accessible
and the users's home directories which are protected by a password.  If I
open Nautilus on that Samba server, ``smb://server/'', I see the
publically accessible volumes, but not the home directories (like it has
always been, strangely).

Now to the interesting part: if I -- after going to ``smb://server/'' --
directly do a C-l and change ``smb://server/'' to
``smb://server/thomas/'' (i.e. my home directory) then Nautilus crashes
reproducibly.  But it doesn't crash if I first go to some other volume,
say ``smb://server/music/'', and then C-l and change the path to
``smb://server/thomas/''.
