No I'm not running remix. Butting head with Seb was not the intent. Since release is right around the corner (next week i think) this is something that needs to be fixed and at this point in release only Important bugs are looked at to be fixed and for me dropping to a TTY to restart gnome-panel is not something that is fun. New users on upgrade/install of 9.10 after release may see this and IMHO that is the biggest problem that this bug has, but are new users going to know to drop to a TTY and run "kill all gnome-panel"? I have days where i run only in TTY but others dont. I will drop it to medium as a compromise (meet in the middle) to mine and Sebs disagreement.
