The magicolor_2400W-m2400w.ppd contains *Manufacturer indication "KONICA
MINOLTA", while gnome-cups-manager uses indication "Minolta" which is also used
by Foomatic.
Gnome-cups-manager will match "KONICA MINOLTA" to "Minolta" and look for you
printer model there, since it isn't there it matches the one that closely
resembles it, in your case magicolor 2430 DL.
Please note this is only a viewing problem in the Properties > Driver tab of
gnome-cups-manager, this does not affect the functioning of the printer since
the PPD was installed correctly.
To prove this you could change the *Manufacturer indication to "Minolta" by
editing /usr/share/cups/model/magicolor_2400W-m2400w.ppd.
Then remove your printer in gnome-cups-manager and add it again and look in the
Properties > Driver tab, you will see that the correct driver is indicated.

If I understand correctly you printer works except for the gnome-cups-manager
"Test Page"?
If this is the case please attach your /var/log/cups/error_log after you
pressed the "Test Page" button.
