Sebastien : adding a space with the mouse is not trivial You have to open a document with spaces in it, then use right-click to copy & paste the space each time you want to add another word separated with a space to a sentence. Of course it's possible but... The space bar is largely used on a day-to-day basis and not having it working prevents the user to write text with its computer. Not a minor bug for french users, honestly
