karmic alpha 6 amd64 + updates (GNOME Edition) steps to reproduce: - take a USB-Stick with many files on it (in my case tons of PortableApps programms) (in figures: 12307 Objects = 751,2 MB ) - plug in the USB-Stick - after ~3sek the icon appears on the desktop - doubleclick on the icon: ... USB-led is blinking for ~1-2 minutes - nautilus opens the window successfully in jaunty this operation was nearly instantly no syslog/dmesg messages.
