Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager
Ubuntu 9.04 with latest updates (as of 9/15/2009) gnome-volume-manager Version: 2.24.0-0ubuntu1 I found that gnome-volume-manager was not running. Attempts to restart it manually finally led me to try to run it without daemonizing. It spits out the following message prior to exiting. gangolli-laptop:~> /usr/lib/gnome-volume-manager/gnome-volume-manager -d no manager.c/3939: Unrecognized response to ConsoleKit GetUnixUser request manager.c/3939: Unrecognized response to ConsoleKit GetUnixUser request Googling around suggests this bug may be fixed in 2.24.1-1. http://groups.google.com/group/linux.debian.bugs.rc/browse_thread/thread/5a16bc03ea9a0509 Any chance we will get that fixed in Jaunty or will we need to wait for Karmic? ** Affects: gnome-volume-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gnome-volume-manager exits https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/430349 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-volume-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
