Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager

Ubuntu 9.04 with latest updates (as of 9/15/2009)

gnome-volume-manager
Version: 2.24.0-0ubuntu1

I found that gnome-volume-manager was not running. Attempts to restart
it manually finally led me to try to run it without daemonizing. It
spits out the following message prior to exiting.

gangolli-laptop:~> /usr/lib/gnome-volume-manager/gnome-volume-manager -d no
manager.c/3939: Unrecognized response to ConsoleKit GetUnixUser request
manager.c/3939: Unrecognized response to ConsoleKit GetUnixUser request

Googling around suggests this bug may be fixed in 2.24.1-1.

Any chance we will get that fixed in Jaunty or will we need to wait for
Karmic?
