Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gvfs

Some commercial DAV servers, such as Novell's oneNet NetStorage, require
session cookies for authentication. While this is arguably not
explicitly required by the WebDAV RFC, neither is it explicitly
forbidden; and as WebDAV is an extension of HTTP, it should be supported
at least for the sake of robustness.

NetStorage, for example, maintains a persistent 401 when proper Basic
credentials are sent but the session cookie is not returned along with
the authentication. This results in the gvfs-dav mounter repeatedly
asking for login credentials. This is the behaviour both in 8.10 and in
Jaunty.

** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
