I'm just saying, at this point, totem with the xine backend does not even
open on my system without these workarounds, so something has to be done
about it. I will not push a buggy version of totem into backports either,
but totem is such an important program for the GNOME desktop and honestly a
good chunk of totem users are using the xine backed for better media
compatibility anyway, so please do consider doing some kind of fix for this.
