You have been subscribed to a public bug: Binary package hint: mountmedia
The problem arises when I want to take my desktop’s screen shot and save it in my hard drive. When I press the print screen button Ubuntu gives the error message “The folder contents could not be displayed.” After pressing the OK button of the error message and I save it under the hard drive. But later on when I am looking for those saved screen shot I find nothing, though when I save those screen shots in .png format it seems to save properly. Actually the problem is that when I take the screen shot none of the hard drive partitions are mounted so when saving those screenshots, it was not saving any thing, since the hard drives are not mounted. In this situation Ubuntu does not provide any warning or message so that the user understands the actual situation. ** Affects: gnome-utils (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Hard Drive mounting problem https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/338939 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-utils in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
