Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
(This is an up-to-date Karmic AMD64 on a Thinkpad X61s.) Immediately after resuming from suspend, Ubuntu occasionally goes right back into suspend. Subsequent attempts to resume are still successful. This started a few weeks ago. I have only noticed this happening when AC power is unplugged between suspend and resume.
