Im running Karmic Alpha5 with gnome-panel 2.27.91 and unfortunately this bug isn't completely fixed yet. When weather display is disabled in the clock preferences and a location is added afterwards the clock still adds the empty space to the left. (See attached screenshot) Enabling and immediately disabling weather display in the preferences lets the blank space disappear again. I know this is an older bug and not a huge deal but nevertheless unwanted behavior that i think should be fixed. Thanks!
