Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
Package is evolution-exchange (as best as I can figure) version of evolution is 2.26.1 Ubuntu 9.04- the Jaunty Jackalope For months it has been a relatively rare occurence. However for the last 2 weeks it has been unbearable. I start evolution, it refreshes the folders gets the new mail, and then sometimes when I try to open a message I'll get the error "Unable to retrieve message Lost connection to Evolution Exchange backend process". Once this happens, a close and restart of evolution is required before another attempt to read a message can be carried out. I can connect to exchange via the web interface, and I can connect via LookOut (MS-Outlook) running in a virtual environment on the same machine. I really don't know what changed, but it is very frustrating. While it is less important to me, the calendar connection to exchange rarely works at all anymore.
