You got me. ;-) I should have read that comment. You seem to master how all these settings work. So you think it's safe to allow people to choose UIDs up to MAX_INT? I'll see what I can do, but that will require a new version of the backends accepting that before the GUI can do that, else we're going to suffer from the same bug as before.
