Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
If I want to make an advanced search I select Search -> Advanced Search. Then I fill in all the field I want to be filtered in the Advanced Search GUI and then I press Ok when finished. The mouse focus jumps to the search field, in the right upper part of evolution GUI, and an "Advanced Search" strings appears (always in the search field) but nothing happens. At this point I have to press enter to make the search running. I think this isn't a user-friendly behavior as when I press Ok (after having filled all the search fields) the results should appear immediately and not after having pressed the enter key (the user isn't informed about this by evolution) ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: wishlist ** Summary changed: - advanced search is only applied pressing enter after having entered ok in advanced search gui + advanced search is only applied pressing "enter" key after having pressed "ok" in advanced search gui -- advanced search is only applied pressing "enter" key after having pressed "ok" in advanced search gui https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/418074 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
