Using all the links to code above and the Kubuntu bugfix, it doesnt seem like fixing this bug in Ubuntu/Nautilus should take too long for a programmer (unfortunately I'm not, so maybe I'm wrong). This bug is really a nuisance for people who need to empty trash often without having to delete the recently trashed files. Is this still a non-trivial fix?
