No, it's not network issues. If I create a 'Connect to Server' bookmark on my desktop for the remote account, it seems to work fine. If I create a 'Places' bookmark, remove the 'Connect to Server' bookmark. log out and log in again, then try to access the Places bookmark, it freezes.
