I'm separating this out from bug #389857 since they are actually two
different bugs:

1) This bug deals with an out of date example python script (see 
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=472812)
2) bug 389857 deals with a bug in Karmic where the inhibit applet isn't working 
at all

They are possibly related.
