considering my comment 40 i changed my mind finally it's logical to have the search field replacing the location bar since there is no location to display when doing a search (by definition)
Therefore here are my suggestions : 1. fix Bug #57210 (already done!) 2. Let the Location bar distinct : it allows to display large paths 3.
