Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot
Our default photo application, lacks caching when watching photos. It would be nice if the next image would appear instantly, without redrawing, just like in gqview (which should be used as a reference in speed). It is important, as users use cameras that produce very large (e.g. 10MP) images. Upstream bug contains a patch for this (which needs to be updated though). ** Affects: f-spot Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: hundredpapercuts Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: f-spot (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: photos slow usability ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #343856 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343856 ** Also affects: f-spot via http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343856 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Also affects: hundredpapercuts Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Lack of preloading - very slow drawing of images https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/388613 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to f-spot in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
