@tomdean: the fix on bug 359658 has been released on Karmic, and Ted is
working on getting it to Jaunty. He already prepared a test version (in
his PPA, pointed to on my comment above). Right now you will have to
install the PPA version, and provide Ted with feedback on bug 359658.
The reason this bug has been closed invalid is given on the second
comment: it does not contain any hard data we can use to determine the
issue. This comment also states what would be needed to to.
@runout: the issue with malformed database seems to be unrelated.
