I get this also.... but if I shut down and reboot entirely the problem goes away for a time. I'm not convinced that this isn't a SECURITY ISSUE. I can go for days without problems ... then this 'loss of passwords' re-appears.
Within minutes of me enterring the passwords to re-instate my email accounts (I have multiple accounts) there is a flurry of spam generated from my hijacked accounts.
