Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot
=== OVERVIEW === When exporting images to a CD or DVD, f-spot is not longer able to open the cd burner. If the burning task contained many pictures, then f-spot freezes completely. === DETAILS === --- Steps to reproduce --- 1. Open f-spot 2. Select some images. 3. File -- Export to -- CD... 4. The export dialog appears. Confirm by clicking on Export. 5. The progress window appears to show how many files are transferred. Current Result: * Nothing happens (in the best case). If there were many pictures selected, then f-spot freezes and has to be killed. * If the CD burn location is opened manually, the files are correctly exported and can be burned. * The command line output of f-spot is: "nautilus-cd-burner: not found" Expected Result: The burn window appears to finally burn the cd. Guess: May that be a result of the Ubuntu/Gnome decision to use Brasero instead of the "old" nautilus based CD-burner? --- Ubuntu --- Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 Please note that the computer was upgraded from Ubuntu 8.10 to 9.04 via the system update tool. --- Package --- f-spot: Installiert: 0.5.0.3-1ubuntu6 Kandidat: 0.5.0.3-1ubuntu6 Versions-Tabelle: *** 0.5.0.3-1ubuntu6 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status --- Extension --- The version of the cd export extension (add-in) in f-spot is: Core v0.5.0.0 ** Affects: f-spot (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Export to CD does not longer work in Ubuntu 9.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/379373 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to f-spot in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
