** Description changed: Binary package hint: nautilus I wanted to import my files from a external drive to my internal ntfs drive, where i store all my non-os-data. So i opened the ntfs disk in the first tab and the external disk (ntfs, too) in the second one. - Now, if i right click in the window (first tab) and choose to make a new directory, file or whatever, it is written to the folder un my external drive, which i have opened in the second tab. - Also, i cannot delete a file from the local disc because the external drive is read-only. + Now, if i right click in the window (first tab) and choose to make a new directory, file or whatever, it is written to the folder on my external drive, which i have opened in the second tab. + (Also, i cannot delete a file from the local disc because the external drive is read-only.) + Edit: The second drive is also writable but if i open them both in two tabs, i cant delete files or folders on the first and the second drive. If i open the two drives in two separate windows instead of tabs it works alright. I hope you understand what i mean, it is really difficult to explain. Maybe i will record a video showing what happens and post a link... + + ---------- ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/nautilus NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: nautilus 1:2.26.2-0ubuntu2 ProcEnviron: LANG=de_AT.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: nautilus Uname: Linux 2.6.27-14-generic i686
