Hello all, I'm facing the same issue since I installed Jaunty. I've installed all the necessary drivers and plugins that it has prompted me to download; but no luck.
I've also followed the suggestion given in this link: http://www.ubuntugeek.com/sound-solutions-for-ubuntu-904-jaunty- users.html After following all the steps I can "see" music has started; but, without any sound output with or without headphones. Volume Meter (playback) of PulseAudio Applet shows the front-left and front-left bars are moving. I don't understand what is the matter with sound? Any help regarding this will appreciated.
