Upon further testing: Yes, it doesn't lock the screen once a user is switched. This is a security flaw as another logged in user just needs to switch virtual consoles to be in the other person's login.
Logic currently: 1. User 'A' logs in. 2. Switch user and login as 'B'. 3. Switch user. Returns to GDM. Login as 'A'. Informed that 'A' is already logged in. Asked if you would like to resume that session. So 2 things are missing that worked previously very well in Breezy. In my opionion a regression: - Locking of your screen once Switch User is invoked. - A status of who is logged in when Switch User is invoked. Instead of just throwing you straight to GDM. -- 'Switch User' button from 'System/Quit' should behave exactly like 'Switch User' from gnome-screensaver https://launchpad.net/bugs/47005 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
