Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
Ubuntu 9.04 AMD64 on Dell Dimension E521 AMD 64X2 5000+, 2GB ram evolution 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 There is an unpleasant interaction between evolution and network connectivity. When using evolution as client to an IMAP server on the LAN, the wired connection will flap when actively using evolution (going through email list, deleting email, etc.). Evolution will also eventually take itself offline, presumably due to the flapping. If I'm not actively using evolution (i.e., it is just up in the background), then network connectivity is stable. This doesn't occur with Thunderbird. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- evolution appears to cause network connection instability https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/370423 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
