I should have tested a new user in the first place... This is due to spatial mode.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Run gconftool-2 -s /apps/nautilus/preferences/always_use_browser -t bool false 2. Go to Places -> Home Folder. 3. In the window that appears click on File.
