Found a fix by going to "Places" on the desktop "Home folder", clicking on show hidden files, click on '.evolution' ; calendar; local; system; calendar.ics; and then delete last entry that caused crash from and including BEGIN:VEVENT down to END:VEVENT. then saved file and closed. Reopened evolution calendars and everything worked again. (Thank God) The original crash happened when I tried to adjust a recurring event and apply changes to all events. this is when it froze. - Rev Glenn Louttit Minister Innisfail Uniting Church P.O.
