There is a thread in the forums where at least three other people have the same problem.
Search in 'Installation & Upgrades' for the phrase "No nautilus after jaunty upgrade". My log file has the following errors: Apr 25 22:40:31 Joshua syslogd 1.5.0#5ubuntu3: restart.
