You have been subscribed to a public bug:
When the timezone is set to Asia/Kolkatta the location Map indicator in
the Date & Time system incorrectly indicates to Some African country
rather then India.
The location Map indicator should refer to India rather than some place
in Africa.
This problem is in both Intrepid 8.10 and Jaunty Alpha 6 as well.
To replicate : Set / Add location to India in the Date & Time
preferences.
