2. start rhythmbox 3. I cannot directly rename a folder if only case changes, so I rename jbo to jbo2 4. rename jbo2 to JBO 5. now every song appears three times in the rhythmbox library, once with the path jbo, once with the path jbo2, and once with the path JBO, not beautiful, but not really a problem... 6. restart rhythmbox. Now the songs do not appear thrice anymore, since the songs with the directory jbo2 are not in the playlist anymore, as it was to be expected.
