This one has annoyed me for quite some time, and it's definitely there under Hardy, and I'm pretty sure I remember it there in Gutsy and maybe Feisty.
It's only thanks to this bug thread that I now know how to use the zoom! Also, I'd like to add a suggestion here. As I always run at high res, I'm always zooming all of my apps. It would be VERY nice if the terminal would remember the last zoom setting so I don't have to do it every time.
