I have a similar issue here on Jaunty. i did not have it till yesterday, but today, I got the problem.
When I delete something on my home folder, I can not see them in trash(trash:///), but when I check ~/.local/share/Trash/files I see those deleted files appear there. This is a really annoying bug,Trash is a simple function that any convenient OS must offer without hassle.
