I take that back. The official brother debs cause the test-print page to print properly, printing from firefox seems to come out fine
but printing from gedit still cuts off the first 2 text lines, although the left columns are all there. The printer job options margins were all set to 0 points. I set them all to 24pt which moved the text about 1.5 em's to the right, but about six lines down suddenly making room for the gedit page header as well as the missing 2 lines.
