Thanks for your bug. What do you open to get that issue? Is that specific to a directory? It could be a preview of something listed by it. Could you get a bakctrace with nautilus-dbg installed? Run that from a command line when nautilus is normal - gdb -p $(pidof nautilus) (gdb) continue ... get nautilus starting to be buggy then do Ctrl-C on the gdb prompt (gdb) thread apply all bt
