*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 45112 *** This also happend to me. Using Flight7 fully updated.
Steps to reproduce, on my box (currently using a french installation, using the closest terms when possible): 1. install flight7 and update 2. Select "add on this panel" on the panel's right-click menu 3. In the following window, select the "Custom Application Launcher" button 4. I've written the exact same thing in the first, second and 4th inputbox ("Name", "Generic Name", and "Command"). For example, i've written "gedit" in these three inputboxes. 5. Click on the "icon" button, next to the Terminal checkbox. On my machine, the popped up window disappears automaticly, defaulting to xfce4-terminal's icon. 6. Click on "icon" again. This time, you should see the window normally, but any keypress resulting in a modification of the icon's path should make that window disappear again. 7. Reply with "this happened to me too :(" reply. The only "heavy" modifications I made to this installation are: installing kernel headers/includes files to compile kqemu, added deskbar and weather plugins to this panel. The rest shouldnt matter much. ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 45112 Icon Preferences Dialogue Closes Too Much -- inconsistent icons: property icons do not match displayed panel icons https://launchpad.net/bugs/45502 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
