To Tomas Gustavsson, Well i somewhere heard, there is a little issue with making it enabled by default. What it does is save the file temporarily and then upload that temporary file to the FTP server. Somehow there seemes to be a difference possible between write permission and delete and replace permission (I don't know exactly what the problem was, but something in this direction). Therefor it can be possible that you may overwrite files but not delete one and replace it with a newly created file.
