Was looking for a similar issue to report against. In my configuration, I had previous release of Ekiga running on Intrepid. I use it infrequently, mainly for voicemail but have both an Ekiga.net and Diamondcard account so I can do full in/out calling.
Received a voicemail today and went to check it just to clear it from the outbound site. Found I could not make any outbound calls. Could make inbound calls. I'm running the alpha (current) version of Jaunty now. Had a second computer sitting next to this one, also running Jaunty, but with x86_64 binaries. Configured Ekiga there with default settings and it worked correctly for Echo Test and outbound calling. Removed configuration on this computer using "apt-get purge ekiga" and then "apt-get autoremove" and reinstalled. After new configuration of all attributes functionality was restored to normal. Possibly upgrade process from Intrepid to Jaunty is broken?
