Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gedit
Find is greyed out w/ gedit 2.25.8 I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 alpha - at some point, the gedit find feature stopped working. - When I ctrl-F, and type the text I want to search for, the Find button stays greyed out, I can't press enter, or click Find, or alt-f for it to do a find. Any ideas? Screen shot to be attached. gedit package: Version: 2.25.8-0ubuntu1 lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch) Release: 9.04 apt-cache policy gedit gedit: Installed: 2.25.8-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 2.25.8-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 2.25.8-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gedit find is greyed out version 2.25.8 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/338499 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
