The very same issue: Hardy Heron, Evolution 2.22.3.1. Always load images option is enabled under HTML prefs, CTRL+I doesn't help at all. In some mails, some pictures are shown, in others none of them are loaded. It is very annoying, since email newsletters cannot be read.
