Public bug reported: There is no easy way to control the volume of system-event- sound relativ to other sounds.
This is annoying, as system-sounds-are mostly much louder than sound from other applications like media-players, unless you turned all their volumes to 100%, but even in this case, system-sounds are nearly always markable louder. (And having all applications volume set to 100% is a loose of function, you can't control the volume of a single application then....) So I propose to include a volume control in gnome-sound-properties for the sound-events. In the simplest case one for all, or even better one control for each event. ** Affects: control-center (Ubuntu) Severity: Wishlist Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed ** Changed in: control-center (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal => Wishlist -- gnome-sound-properties: No easy way to control volume of system sounds https://launchpad.net/bugs/45577 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
