You have been subscribed to a public bug: Brightness Applet
1 Using Intrepid Ibex 2 can't find packagename when I type in "apt-cache policy packagename" 3 I expected it to just adjust the brightness 4 Whenever I try to use the brightness applet, the slider pops up on screen, then won't go away until I slide all the way to one extreme. After that, when I click on any menus, they won't drop down. Keyboard input appears to be no longer recognized as well. When I try to shut down, I get a message that an application is still running "GNOME power management". ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Brightness Applet freezes keyboard, mouse https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/329481 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
