Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gimp
I was surprised when I printed a picture from the GIMP. It was supposed to be 17.1 cm by 10.1 cm (see screenshot), but on the paper the width became 16.6 cm (5 mm off!) while the height was ok. Before this I printed another picture that was supposed to be 12.7 cm by 17.8 cm, but on the paper the width was just 12.3 cm. Also here the height was ok. I printed to an Epson Stylus DX3850 which is shared on a Windows machine. I printed on Inkjet Paper with Best quality and Image Type set to Graphics. The image is a supplement for the board game Arkham Horror, and it was downloaded from the Fantasy Flight Games website (http://new.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_minisite_sec.asp?eidm=6&esem=4). It's hard to tell as the change was so small, but I think the printed image looks a tiny bit squeezed horizontally.
