Binary package hint: rhythmbox
this started after upgrading to ubuntu 8.10. happens with and without
pulseAudio. have re-installed rhythymbox to no effect and run thru all
relevant ubuntu forum suggestions to no effect. i have spent dozens
ofhours playingwith it and now am damn curious to know what is wrong.
