Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince
I have a network attached Lexmark Optra R+ printer. I have configured this using CUPS as the default printer. Other apps eg Firefox, gedit, openoffice etc. can print to this printer fine. Test pages work OK. When I try to print a PDF from Evince, the printer starts up, but nothing ever comes out and no jobs show up in the printer status monitor applet. However using acroread to view and print the PDF works fine. This is the same for all PDF's I have tried. I don't know what error codes (if any) evince gives; there is no evidence of a crash; evince continues to run, but there is no output.
