Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Hi, I'am using Rhythmbox on Ubuntu 8.10 desktop and I have installed : GStreamer ffmpeg video plugin GStreamer extra plugins ("ugly" set) GStreamer plugins for mms, wavpack, quicktime, musepack ("bad" set) GStreamer plugins for aac, xvid, mpeg2, faad ( "bad" set (Multiverse Variant)) GStreamer Dirac video plugin The problem is that when I play audio files with Rhythmbox (or other player like Amarok and Totem) the audio playing freezes for a few seconds and than suddenly resumes or the player crashes and I have to restart the X to fix it. It's very annoying problem. Please help me! *I think that it's some kind of misunderstanding between Kernel and codecs/plugins... Can someone give me tutorial how to fix it. ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Audio players freezes... https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/324450 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
