Binary package hint: totem
I have working 6 channels (5.1) sound with pulseaudio (ubuntu 8.04 and
8.10) and Totem gstreamer. All is good, but I found a new and
interesting bug today. If I enable the audio visualizations in totem,
sound will be downixed to stereo instead of playing back in surround. I
can reproduce this consistently.
This might be a reason why some people report surround not working for
them with audio files.
