Happens here as well. Some mp3 files that were playing correctly now create "Internal Dataflow Error" when played through Banshee or Totem-gstreamer. This started last week when I upgraded to the latest dapper packages. I noticed gstreamer packages were upgraded during that process. This happens only for some mp3 files, not all of them. I do not have USB Audigy, and ALSA is selected as default output in gstreamer-properties.
When played through gst-launch, I get: Setting pipeline to PAUSED ... Pipeline is PREROLLING ... ERROR: from element /playbin0/source: Internal data flow error. Additional debug info: gstbasesrc.c(1510): gst_base_src_loop (): /playbin0/source: streaming task paused, reason not-negotiated ERROR: pipeline doesn't want to preroll. Setting pipeline to NULL ... FREEING pipeline ... -- gstreamer0.10 refuses to play certain valid MP3s (not all, but some) https://launchpad.net/bugs/42247 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
